Late Alternative Burns Night February 8th

Late Alternative Burns Night February 8th

Join us for a Late & Exclusive Alternative Burns Night!

Burns Night is a massive whisky evening, full of toasts, banter, a celebration of the man, his poetry and all things Scottish. It’s a fantastic way to brighten the drudgery of Winter.

Why Late: Did you know Burns Nights were originally held in July? Scotland’s famous Bard is celebrated across the World, and not always in January! So February 8th it is for us!… Which also means we won’t be tempting you to breaking ‘Dry January’ 😊

Why Alternative: ‘Alternative’ because there will be no pipers, kilts or black ties, and we’ll be forgoing some of the ceremony. Yes there will be tatties, neeps, whisky and even haggis, as Burns will be our celebrated theme. The menu is below.

The ‘Exclusive’ Night: A blind four dram tasting that the whisky loving Bard would be proud of. What’s more, we have a dram that you won’t be able to taste anywhere else in the World – it doesn’t get more exclusive than that! The tasting will be followed by a Burns and Scottish themed 3 course supper. Arrive 6.30pm to 6.45pm to start at 7.00pm. £95 per person CLICK HERE TO BOOK

The Venue: We have taken you to some great venues, but never to a place designed for education, dedicated to schooling you in whisky. We have a private space at The Melody – St. Paul’s Hotel – which also has a bar with an extensive range for you to explore before and after, if you choose to. The Melody – St. Paul’s Hotel, 153 Hammersmith Road, Hammersmith, London W14 0QL.

We have organised a special room rate for you £99 B&B – email marios@stpaulhotel.co.uk directly, quoting “Alternative Burns Night.”

Supper is a 3 course meal:

Starter: Haggis & Black Pudding Scotch Egg with Apple & Ginger Chutney

Main: Slow Cooked Aberdeen Angus Beef Short Rib with Bashed Neeps, Tatties & Roasting Juices

Dessert: Raspberry & Honey Shortbread with Whisky Cream & Oats

£95 per person. Book your seats now.
