A Different Kind of Xmas

This is the third in a series of blind tastings where clients are discovering that it’s much harder to tell drink-types apart than you think…

So prepare to have your mind changed! 

Many drinks share some flavour characteristics, and when put side by side, any preconceptions are dissolved. Clients that come proclaiming to only like rum, are discovering - to their surprise - that there are some whiskies they love too.

The Drams:
This will be a Rum, Tequila and Whisky blind tasting. 5 carefully selected drams to challenge your perceptions, leave you guessing, and ultimately change your mind.

The Smoke:
The UK & Ireland Managing Director of Davidoff is your cigar host.
Roy introduced me to a range of cigars that knocked La Trova off my top spot. We are seeing the year out with an epic smoke and it’s hexagon-shaped. Wait until you light it!

 Supper:
From mid-November until we break for Christmas, you can eat your body weight in turkey at any other event, so I’m sparing you more turkey! 

The Evenings:
Arrive at 6.30pm, for a 6.45pm start 

My first Whisky Drams tasting was back in December 2018, it stuck in my mind as an event to revisit! 5 tastings on, Fire & Spice being the latest, I plan to continue revisiting Whisky Drams tastings. Paul always delivers a fantastically curated tasting with exquisite drams and there’s always a surprise – beer, chocolate, cigars, rum and cognac. These tastings are thoroughly enjoyable.
