At this indulgent tasting we’ll explore what sweet really means.

40% dark chocolate and whisky would probably not be your first choices when thinking about what sweet is. The pleasant taste of sugar or honey… The absence of salt, sour or bitterness probably would.

At “The Alchemy of Sweet”, we will blow your minds by playing with flavours, challenging perceptions and redefining sweetness using aroma, experiences and pure flavour sorcery.

Prepare to be surprised and provoked. 

 

Warning: This is not a standard tasting. Nor is it a sweet wine tasting. This curated experience will challenge how you define sweetness. 

Join us and guest speaker Ryan Kenny of International Beverage for a taste of his delicious drams. His brands include: anCnoc, Balblair, Larsen, Old Pulteney, Phraya and PRAKAAN. 

Head Sommelier Robin will tease your taste buds with wine that will challenge your perception, and there’s no dessert wine in sight!

And of course I will be overseeing all the sorcery, and your whisky host. 

We are among the first to taste the New Season’s Wagyu Butter. The flavours are in theme with the “Sweet” experience. Your Wagyu Butter is infused with White Chocolate, Cinnamon & Coffee. I can’t wait!
