Late Alternative Burns Night

late Alternative Burns Night

Tuesday February 7th

At

boiler & Co

Why Late:
Did you know Burns Nights were originally held in July? So February 7th it is for us!... It also means we won’t be tempting you to breaking 'Dry January.

Why Alternative:
Scotland’s famous Bard lived in a time of 3 revolutions that would change the world and we will explore this through drams. Also there will be no pipers, black ties, and we’ll be forgoing some of the ceremony. Tatties and neeps are a must have but we are serving them with Rib-eye.

The ‘Exclusive’ Night:
A blind five dram tasting that the whisky loving Bard would be proud of. What’s more, it's not all scotch. There are lots of drams available today along with new whisky regions, that I am sure Burns would have enjoyed tasting. So let's discover them for him! The tasting will be followed by a 2 course supper. £97 per person

The Venue:
We are heading back to the private space at Boiler & Co after the huge success of Fire & Spice. They have great food, epic whisky cocktails as well as an extensive drinks list. And it's 5 minutes from Blackfriars mainline station, directly behind the Tate Modern.

Boiler & Co 5 Canvey Street, London SE1 9AN - Arrive 6.30pm to 6.45pm to start at 7.00pm

Here’s what people think about our Late Alternative Burns Nights:

In my time at Collyer Bristow I don't think we've had such an engaging and enjoyable event as the Burns Night Whisky & Chocolate Tasting - it was a perfect way to connect with our contacts and we all got to learn and enjoy so much about whisky!

What a great evening at the Alternative Burns Night whisky tasting, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening which was both fun and informative, with superb whiskies and food. A good mix of people. Paul did a sterling job, I’ll certainly go again.
